Besides planed 10 discussion and 6 Debates,we also organized some additional events concerning gender equality and promoting women encouragement.
“TyusUP” women talks series (TyusUp translated from Armenian as “pieces up”) is named after the well-known Armenian feminist-novelist Srpuhi Tyusap and is aimed at empowerment of women and girls by staging successful women to share their life stories, vision, mission and make an idea of a “strong and successful woman” real.
WE DO BELIEVE THAT A SINGLE POWERFUL WOMAN CAN EMPOWER THOUSANDS AROUND AND FAR.
Movies Screening
Above all , we organized movie screenings ( mostly premiering in Armenia) in cooperation with Armenian movie director Tigran Khzmalyan and Bared Manookian as well as all with the "Sose" international film festival. The screened movies portray different issues and problems women face in world generally and specifically in Armenia. related to women encouragement and promoting gender equality.Movie screenings were organized both in Yerevan and in 2 regions in order to involve young people, women and disadvantage people from the regions. All screenings were followed by discussions with involvement of a professional in the field.
